The process of making beer

The first step in the process is our "Mash Tun."
The Merchien Mash Tun
 
We start with mixing the crushed grains into the mash liquor (water). The grains steep in the hot water of the Mash Tun for approximately one hour, depending on the recipe.
After the "mashing" is finished, we pump through our "underback" to the copper. Collecting the brew
The liquid, called "Wort," is boiled with hops here for approximately one hour.
